In the 2014 Lok Sabha general elections, Sahibabad assembly segment had given a whopping lead of 209688 votes to the BJP’s Ghaziabad parliamentary seat nominee V K Singh over his nearest Congress rival Raj Babbar who received just 49764 votes.
